[Women's Soccer] Paparelli Earns CCAC Defensive Player of the Week Award

CHICAGO – Sophomore defender/goalkeeper Gina Paparelli (Midlothian, Ill./Tinley Park) was named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) women's soccer Defensive Player of the Week for Saint Xavier University women's soccer (6-5-3, 6-2-1 CCAC) when the awards were announced by the league office Tuesday morning. Paparelli made six saves, posted her third shutout of the season and her second consecutive clean sheet to help the Cougars defeat CCAC leader Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.), 1-0, last Wednesday evening in Bourbonnais, Ill.
