Emmerdale fans horrified as beloved couple crushed by campervan in MORE storm carnage
THE scenic village of Emmerdale has been plunged into the eye of the storm this week, with central characters already swept up in tragedy.
With Harriet Finch dying after falling from her quad bike and Sam Dingle getting impaled on an upturned digger, the death toll doesn’t stop there.
In Tuesday’s episode of the ITV soap, viewers saw Liv Flaherty and Vinny Dingle get crushed by a campervan on their way to the Woolpack.
Paddy asked Liv to help in the pub as Charity drove Noah to the hospital to support Amelia who went into early labour.
Sam’s life is hanging in the balance after a brutal skewering from an upturned digger.
Belle and Nate try to save him by cutting through the metal – but will he make it?
Elsewhere, Charles saves Nicola from a falling tree.
But instead of showing gratitude, Nicola has a panic attack and stops breathing – can Charles help her?

After seeing the shocking scenes, one fan wrote: “Well, ‘Crushed by a caravan’ is a new one.”
Another said: “No! Just leave Vinny and Liv alone! They’ve gone through addiction and abusive family members… just let them get their damn dog!”
While a third added: “Not Vinny and Liv!”
As a fourth wondered :”Well I’m guessing Liv is a goner.”
Director Tim O’Mara has revealed the death toll won’t stop there.
He said: “No one is safe. There’s a possibility of eight or nine characters not being around for very long.

“We do go to the hospital on a number of visits, a number of people hurt by debris flying around the village, there are accidents in the woods, trees falling on people.
“There are massive accidents at the farm which might attract the attention of one or two characters.
“And there’s a massive problem in the village that will involve two of the other characters.
“Plus there’s some stunts in the woods nearby.
“And of course, there’s a wedding. So when you mix all of that up, all these ingredients, it’s going to be sensational.
“No one is safe.”
