• Cynthia East Skovlin, the founder of Dream Farm Mushrooms, a community-based mushroom farm and education project in Point Reyes, hosts a mushroom workshop at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Dance Palace at 503 B St. in Point Reyes Station. The event will include a mushroom tasting, information about mushroom ecology and much more. Cost is $85, which includes a mushroom kit. Register on Eventbrite.

• Learn about seven Indigenous architects from North America during a screening of “From Earth to Sky” at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Marin Art and Garden Center’s Studio at 30 Sir Francis Drake Blvd. in Ross. A conversation with Daniel Glenn, one of the film’s stars, to follow. The event, presented by the Center for Architecture + Design and American Institute of Architects, is free. Seating is limited. • Hear about the history, scandals and spirituality of the founding fathers of Marin County during Marcie Miller’s Mt.
