Thankfully one savvy content creator has shared how Greggs fans can still get their favourite bakes but without spending a penny.
Ahmad Musa, known online as @ahmadmusa01, often shares money-saving hacks with his 300,000 followers.
In his recent video, the pro bargain hunter shared how shoppers can get a free bake and hot drink when they download and sign up for the fast food chain’s app.
“Hey Greggs, can I get a vegan sausage roll and one of those hot chocolates, please?
“Sure, that’ll be ummm free.

“Wait, did you just say free?
“Yep, completely free. If you sign up to the Greggs app before the 2nd of January 2023, then you can get a free bake or a sausage [roll], and a hot drink.
“All you gotta do is sign up, claim the free Greggs bake/sausage [roll] and any hot drink, then you can delete the app after claiming.”
Fans loved the keen saver’s hack, with the 14-second video gaining more than 157,000 likes and 1.7 million views.

In the comments, Ahmad’s followers thanked him for sharing the ‘genius’ hack, with one writing: “Bro this is why I follow [you].”

On the Greggs website, it states: “To make the Greggs App even more rewarding, for a limited period we’re giving all of our new users a proper Greggs welcome with a tasty bake and hot drink on us when you download and register.
“Choose your favourite bake or roll, together with a freshly ground coffee, tasty tea or hot chocolate when you download the Greggs App between Monday 3rd October and 2nd January.
“Once downloaded, you’ll see your reward waiting for you in your wallet, then just pop to your local Greggs, scan your app and redeem – it’s as simple as that.
