How crime writer Scott Turow invented the modern courtroom thriller

BEFORE John Grisham, before TV's Law And Order, Kavanagh QC and Judge John Deed, there was Scott Turow. The bestselling American author almost single-handedly created the modern legal thriller with his 1987 blockbuster Presumed Innocent, which spawned the hit movie starring Harrison Ford as a lawyer accused of murder.
