Deutsche Bank's Q3 profit surges

FRANKFURT, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- Deutsche Bank reported on Wednesday that its profit before tax in the third quarter of 2022 was the highest for the period since 2006.

Post-tax profit increased more than threefold year-on-year to 1.2 billion euros (1.2 billion U.S. dollars).

Deutsche Bank, Germany's largest lender, attributed the jump in profits to its efforts to boost revenues and reduce expenses.
