Amber Ruffin Hints at Future Plans Amid Rumors She'll Take Trevor Noah's 'Daily Show' Spot
Amber Ruffin is aware of the rumors that she’s up to replace Trevor Noah as the host of The Daily Show.
However, the 43-year-old comedian isn’t confirming anything about her future plans or if she’s in the running to take over for the 38-year-old long-time host, who announced his exit in September.
She addressed the whispers during a recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show.

Jennifer Hudson asked Amber for some tea, and she shared what she knew.
“I think it’s very nice that people think of me for that position,” she said. “I think that is so cool and I’m so honored.”
“And who knows,” Amber added. “‘Cause I didn’t think I’d be on no Jennifer Hudson Show so, who knows?”
