[Women's Basketball] Saints Down Foresters 64-61

Huntington, Ind.  The Holy Cross women's basketball team kicked off their 2022-2023 season on the road at Huntington University. The Saints jumped out to a 17-5 lead after the first quarter. Both teams would score 16 points in the second quarter, as Holy Cross would command a 33-21 lead heading into halftime. Huntington would cut into the Saints' lead in the third quarter and cut the deficit to 41-40 with 10 minutes to play. After numerous lead changes in the fourth quarter, Holy Cross was able to convert on free throws late to come away with the 64-61 victory. With the win, Holy Cross beings the season 1-0 while Huntington drops to 1-1.
