I was forced to go to extreme lengths when I got my passport picture taken when there was a major issue with my lashes
ANYONE who’s ever had a passport picture taken knows the very strict rules that come with them.
But one woman was left stunned when she went to get a photo taken for her passport renewal, and was told to CUT her eyelashes because her extensions were too long.
Maddy took to TikTok to explain the situation, as she began: “So I’m getting my passport renewed today.
“This is my make-up because I know they’re quite weird about putting make-up on.”
She then made her way to have her picture taken, before resuming the video as she said: “You’re not going to believe this guys.
“Actually, you will, because my life… it’s me, right?

“And you’re wondering why I’m holding a pair of scissors?
“They took one look at my face and they’re like, ‘Your eyelash extensions are too long’.
“They gave me scissors and said, ‘You either need to come back another day’.
“I’m like, ‘I’m flying off tomorrow’, or they’re like, ‘you can cut yourself’. So I say, ‘Then I cut!’”

Maddy then went into the bathroom with her scissors and cut her lashes, admitting she’d “butchered” them and retching as she took a look at her handiwork.
She then returned to the man who had given her the instructions, and said: “Okay? I cannot cut anymore.”
And that wasn’t the only issue the picture taker had.
She also revealed that he’d asked her to take her contact lenses out.
When she’d refused, he’d asked her to put her finger in her eye and move the lens around to prove it wasn’t a coloured one.
“NO ONE TOLD ME,” she captioned her video.
“GIRL!!! JUST TELL THEM IT’S REAL EYELASHES,” one person commented on the video.
But Maddy insisted: “They don’t believe me!”
“Since when has this become so difficult? I’m scared,” another wrote.
As a third commented: “Never seen someone so chuffed even after such an arduous procedure.”

To that Maddy replied: “I had to laugh.
“Honestly I didn’t wanna cry in front of them.”
