[Baseball] Knights Picked to Finish 5th in AAC Preseason Coaches Poll

Tennessee Wesleyan claimed the first spot  and is the preseason favorite to win the 2023 AAC Baseball Championship, according ot the AAC Baseball Preseason Poll, voted by each of the 13 baseball coaches in the AAC Conference. 

The Bulldogs recieved 11 of the 12 first place votes after finishing the 2022 season at a whopping 56-8 ad winning the AAC Conference while also advancing to the NAIA World Series that year as well. 

St. Andrews was able to claim the fourth spot after an incredible 2022 season run where the squad finished 37-17 in overall play and 19-11 in conference play. After losing nine starting seniors from the prior team, the squad will need some younger players this year to step up and fill the void.

The AAC Conference looks nearly as strong as ever this season, as only 10 teams will qualify for postseason play this season. The 2023 AAC Tournament is set to take place between May 2nd and May 6th.
