You can buy Overwatch 2 cosmetics bundle items separately now

0

Bundles offer value, in theory, but Overwatch 2 cosmetics bundles weren’t sitting too well with some vocal fans. After a wave of requests to let players purchase bundled items separately, Blizzard acquiesced and implemented the feature, albeit a bit grudgingly.

“Though we believe bundles represent great value for players who want to buy all the included items, we understand that some players may want to purchase certain bundled items separately at their full price,” Blizzard said in the forum post announcing the change.

Overwatch cosmetic bundles offer a range of items, including skins, weapon charms, and banner sprays, at anywhere from four percent off the original price to 20 percent or more. That sounds like a steal, unless you only way, say, Mercy’s Halloween outfit, and not the pumpkin accessory or banner items.

Blizzard said the change is live now across all platforms, though the current shop, which refreshes on Nov. 7, 2022, doesn’t seem to reflect the new system yet. Items in both Halloween bundles remain locked together, and the regular bundles don’t let you choose which items you want to buy either. The same is true of the seasonal bundles, including the battle pass bundle and Sojourn bundle.

Presumably, the change will actually take effect once the shop refreshes in a week. If any Mei cosmetics show up, though, you might want to wait a bit longer. Mei won’t be playable for a little while longer.
