Officials: Germany avoids recession despite rising inflation

BERLIN, Germany: Data released by the federal statistics office showed that while Germany staved off the threat of recession in the third quarter due to unexpected economic growth, its economy is still at risk from the impact of high inflation driven by the energy standoff with Russia.
