BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Eighth-seeded Shawnee State (Ohio) defeated No.9 seed Georgetown (Ky.) 2-1 to wrap up the  Mid-South Conference Women's Soccer Opening Round on Wednesday.

With the victory, the Bears (10-7-1) advance to the tournament quarterfinals where they will take on top-seeded Cumberlands (Ky.) on Friday at 4:30 p.m. ET.
