Sau Franco and Burdet Fall at ITA Fall Nationals

SAN DIEGO – The Razorback doubles duo of Alan Sau Franco and Adrien Burdet dropped their opening match at the ITA Fall National Championships to conclude the collegiate fall tennis season.

In Round of 32 match, Sau Franco/Burdet were up against VCU’s Bobichon/Stable. The Razorbacks were up by two games in the first set, but their Rams opponents came back to take it 6-3. The second set was the same back and forth as they were all even at 6-6 to force a tiebreak. The Hogs didn’t back down, ultimately dropping the match in 10-8 tiebreak.

The Razorback men’s tennis team concludes the fall tennis season at home as they are hosting the ITF Fayetteville Futures through Sunday, Nov. 6 at the Billingsley Tennis Center.
