Emails: Trump lawyers saw Justice Thomas as ‘key’ to post-election plan

Newly obtained emails show one Trump lawyer wrote to John Eastman in December 2020 that persuading Justice Clarence Thomas might be “our only chance to get a favorable judicial opinion by Jan. 6, which might hold up the Georgia count in Congress.”
