Fake tan fan mortified by unfortunate fail which means she has to keep her arms by her sides all night
WE all love a bit of fake tan for a night out.
But one woman was left fuming when her bronzing attempt went horribly wrong.
Ashley LaMarca took to TikTok to share a video as she got ready for a night out with friends, as she said: “I’m getting ready for this weekend and I self-tanned because I’m pale.
“I did my body, my hands are orange – look at the difference, but whatever, long story.
“But look at my armpits.”
She then lifted up her arms, showing a VERY patchy tan beneath.

“Are you kidding me? How does this even happen?” she sighed.
“This is actually really bad. What do I do?”
Ashley was then seen trying to remove the patchy tan with a make-up wipe, before moaning: “It’s not going to come off!”
Her friends tried to offer other suggestions, such as covering it with deodorant, but Ashley said that her deodorant was clear so wouldn’t mask anything.

“Anything that I do – even putting my bag on my shoulder,” she said, explaining that she’d have to keep her arms by her side all night.
“I should have brought a short-sleeved shirt or something that cover my armpits but this is all I have,” she said.
One of her friends assured her that it would be dark, so people wouldn’t be able to see it, while another pal said she should wear her long brunette hair loose to cover her armpits.
“If you see me out and you see my armpits… you didn’t,” she concluded.
People were quick to take to the comments section to offer their own fake tan removal advice, with one writing: “I’m telling you.
“Run over it with micellar water on the rough areas it pulls it off, let it dry, fresh layer. Boom.”
“You must’ve sweated while it was setting or have dry skin,” another added.

“I’d just put some bronzer and then setting powder so the bronzer doesn’t smudge.”
“Get some Bondi sands tan remover and fab it in that area, leave it on for 5minutes then wipe it away with some water,” a third wrote.
