Walmart to sell some Thanksgiving items at last year's prices to 'remove inflation'

Walmart Inc. said Thursday it will be offering several Thanksgiving food items, including turkeys and pumpkin pies, at last year's prices. "Saving money is a top priority for our customers right now, so this year, we're removing inflation" on several items traditionally served at the holiday, the retailer said. Walmart is rolling out the offers this week through Dec. 26, it said. Walmart shares edged higher in midday trading and are down 6% so far this year, compared with losses of around 21% for the S&P 500 index.
