The 85 selected countries were picked on four benchmark criteria: among the top 100 countries in terms of GDP, FDI inflows, international tourism receipts or tourism arrivals between 2016 and 2020, and included in the top 150 countries in the UN's Human Development Index between 2015 and 2019.
