I obviously want England to do well but I don't have the same passion for our national team as I do my club. Never have, never will.
I don't even watch all England games.
You obviously do watch all USA games, which is fair enough.

Most American's are pretty passionate about our National Team. I'm pushing 60 years old. Until MLS came along in 1996 we didn't really have a FIFA Sanctioned Division 1 league. The old NASL of the 1970's and early 1980's was nothing more than an exhibition league. Its clubs didn't compete in International competition. And it folded after 12 seasons. In those days most of us had no access to foreign leagues on TV. So the National Team was all we had. It was OUR team.

As for your views on American players. You clearly don't want to comment any further. I'm going to dismiss all that as clumsy writing on your part and move along. I'd be happy to buy the pints if you ever find your way to the Black Hills of South Dakota. Cheers!
