EMMERDALE fans are in shock after Al Chapman’s real killer was revealed in a huge twist.
The businessman – who was played by actor Michael Wildman in the ITV soap – died after being shot during a fight with enemy Cain Dingle.
In tonight’s episode Cain shocked his family when he appeared in court charged with the crime.
He pleaded guilty to Al’s murder, leaving wife Moira in utter shock.
She screamed out in court, demanding Cain look at her and change his mind – but he refused and wouldn’t even look at her.
Moira stormed to the prison, lying that there was an emergency with the kids so he would agree to see her.

“It wasn’t just Al you killed that day, it was our family,” Moira cried.
“Just please tell me why you did it.”
“It was the way it had to be,” replied Cain as Moira furiously demanded answers on behalf of the kids.
She told him how Kyle was spiralling out of control, and needed a counsellor and doctors.

“You can’t do that,” said Cain grabbing her arm.
“You can’t let Kyle speak to anyone because it was him. I didn’t shoot Al, Kyle did.”
Viewers are in complete shock at the reveal.
