Iron Lynx Partner With Lamborghini For GT3 In 2023 – And LMDh in 2024

Iron Lynx, and Lamborghini will officially partner for the manufacturer’s LMDh programme.

Speaking at the Super Trofeo Grand Finals Prize Giving this evening in Portimão, Stephan Winkelmann, Lamborghini Chairman and CEO, and Giorgio Sanna, Lamborghini Head of Motorsport, confirmed that Lamborghini Iron Lynx will lead Lamborghini Squadra Corse’s debut season in 2024 racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship and the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship’s Michelin Endurance Cup.

The LMDh car will run a twin-turbo V8 hybrid with technical and engineering support for the project will come from PREMA Engineering, a new consultancy division of PREMA Group, which will utilise its 30-year championship-winning racing expertise.

In addition, from 2023, supported by Lamborghini Squadra Corse, Iron Lynx will compete in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup and the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup.

Iron Lynx will compete with the new Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup and the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup, returning to Lamborghini Super Trofeo with the new Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 for 2023.

The team has revealed a green livery for its #63 Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 to compete in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup and the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup, as well as the logo for Lamborghini Iron Lynx’s LMDh programme.

Iron Lynx will race with the #63 and #19 alongside the Iron Dames’ #83 car in the 24 Hours of Daytona, with the #63 and #83 cars contesting the rest of the team’s IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup campaign.

In GT World Challenge Europe, the team will run the #63, #19 and #83 cars in all six Endurance Cup rounds.
