Coronation Street spoilers: Sam Blakeman makes new bid to see mum Natasha’s killer in prison
SAM Blakeman reached out to Harvey Gaskell before his father Nick Tilsley forbade from ever contacting the killer again.
But the lad tries his luck once more next week in Coronation Street, adamant on speaking with the man who killed his mother.
The eleven-year-old played by Jude Riordan has persisted in making contact with Harvey (Will Mellor) through several letters.
He was warned away from the criminal a first time by his father Nick (Ben Price) and his grandmother Audrey Roberts even got involved, all in an attempt to protect him.
However, the restaurateur found out through Hope and Fiz Stape that Sam had actually no intention of cutting off contact with Harvey.
Furious, Nick tore a strip off his son for lying to him – but that won’t deter Sam from trying to meet with Harvey.

Despite his father’s wishes, Sam comes up with another strategy to get what he wants.
While in the Roy’s Rolls café, the young boy explains to Roy Cropper (David Neilson) that he’s been reading about restorative justice.
As some Corrie viewers may know, this type of system focuses on the rehabilitation of offenders through reconciliation with victims.
Sam goes a step further by telling Roy he wants to visit Harvey in prison and wonders if he’d go with him as Nick refuses.

Roy takes the situation seriously and immediately tells Nick.
Later on, Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) realises Sam may feel the need to visit Harvey to get closure for his mother Natasha’s murder.
The Bistro co-owner urges Nick to consider letting Sam pay Harvey a visit.
Will Nick go along with what Sam wants?
As mentioned above, Sam tried to get in touch with the thug in previous scenes of the Manchester-based soap.

Harvey eventually turned to Leanne, demanding she paid him a visit to tell her all about Sam’s letters.
Natasha Blakeman was murdered during Halloween 2021 in a case of mistaken identity when Harvey shot her dead after escaping from a prison van.
Both the hairdresser and Leanne were dressed as Morticia Addams, leading Harvey to confuse them with one another as he spotted whom he believed to be Leanne entering her flat.
