Sandy Sprint California 5K Run-Walk for Ovarian Cancer Research: The Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation holds the fundraiser on Nov. 13. LA Sanitation and Environment’s City Facilities Recycling Program’s Blankets and Socks Drive: Donations of new or gently-used (washed and clean) blankets, sleeping bags, quilts and socks are being accepted now through Dec. 30.
