0

Despite the support from the authorities, the bills of citizens of European countries for gas and electricity reached record levels. This is reported by Bloomberg agency

The agency refers to data from the energy consulting company VaasaETT Ltd, which noted that in October the average retail price for natural gas in the EU and Britain was twice higher than exactly one year ago, and was 18 cents per kilowatt-hour.

The cost of electricity for European households, in turn, rose by 67% to 36 cents per kilowatt hour.

The largest increase in electricity prices in October was in Dublin at around 44%, while the average gas price in Rome rose by 97%.
