US hiring exceeds expectations, as 261,000 jobs added in October
WASHINGTON D.C.: The U.S. added 261,000 jobs in October, announcing the new hirings days before the mid-term elections.
The number of new jobs outpaced expectations of economists and have signaled a hopeful sign to the nation.
While the U.S. unemployment rate increased to 3.7 percent in October, unemployment remained between 3.5 and 3.7 percent since March, according the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
