[Women's Basketball] Saints Win Big at Home

Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross women's basketball team continued their non-conference play when they hosted Goshen College. The Saints offense was scoring early and often in this game, in the first quarter they shot 50% from the field and 100% from three point-range. Jayda Miller started off hot in this game and ended the game with 33 points. The Saints took a 28-11 lead into the second quarter. The Saints in the second quarter did not shoot as well and that led to a more even half with Goshen. The Saints put up 16 points, while Goshen scored 17 points. The Saints would take the 44-28 lead into halftime. In the third quarter, the Saints shot 42% from the field and would lead them to outscoring Goshen in the quarter. The Saints would take a 60-39 lead into the fourth quarter. The Saints offense found their shot once again in the fourth quarter, shooting 85% from the field and 50% from the three point-range. This increases the Saints' lead even more, giving them the 84-48 victory. With the win, Holy Cross improves to 2-2, while Goshen College drops to 3-1.
