When is Black Friday 2022?
This year, Black Friday falls on November 25, the day following Thanksgiving in the United States. Most stores open earlier and close later than usual on Black Friday, giving you more time to shop.
Is it better to shop Black Friday deals online or in-store?
Although Black Friday and Cyber Monday used to be entirely separate events, they've grown nearly synonymous over the last few years. At this point, it's rare to find a store that offers different deals on Black Friday than they do on Cyber Monday.
In recent years, we've seen Black Friday savings start earlier than ever. If you're shopping online, you could start hunting for deals right now:
- Black Friday deals at Amazon
- Black Friday deals at Walmart
- Black Friday deals at Best Buy
- Black Friday deals at Target
- Black Friday deals at Home Depot
Unless you need to try your purchases out before buying — say, if you're looking at clothes — you're better off buying online.
But no matter which option you choose, keep in mind that there are real people working to process your orders. Be mindful and patient with the workers around the country racing to fulfill Black Friday requests, whether they're behind a counter or in a warehouse. After all, they deserve a peaceful holiday season too.
