WBSC Baseball5 World Cup Schedule Update

The World Baseball Softball Confederation has confirmed there is a change to the schedule of the Baseball5 World Cup 2022 with the two final matches on Sunday moving to Saturday.

The WBSC was advised by the local authorities to move the bronze and gold medal games from Sunday to Saturday for safety reasons due to public demonstrations expected in the area of the Zocalo on Sunday.

The decision has been made with the safety of all participants – athletes, fans, officials and staff – in mind.
