Florence Pugh Talks Tripping Over a Sheep & Landing Face-First in Mud While Filming New Movie 'The Wonder'

Florence Pugh has faced off against multiple villains during her days in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

However, the 26-year-old Black Widow actress revealed that she was taken down by a very unexpected villain while filming her new Netflix movie The Wonder. Who was it? A sheep.

The movie was filmed in Ireland last year, and it features several live animals. As it turns out, they were not always the most willing co-stars.

During an interview with Seth Meyers on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Florence explained that she got taken down by a sheep while filming in front of a group of fans.

“I had a sheep run into me, and I face-planted in mud,” she recalled. “Like, full-on mud.”

How did it happen? The star broke it down: “I had a very simple scene where I had to walk across, just walk across the road like that, just walk but with really intense facial expressions going on. And as I was walking past this sheep, the sheep wouldn’t move out of the way. So I like, gently patted the bum and that sheep went ‘Rrr!’ And then another sheep next to it went like, ‘Rrr!’ and then that sheep ran into me.”

“I flipped over the sheep and went straight down into cowpat. It was like full-on mud. It was great,” Florence added.
