Remembrance Day game vs Drummondville
It's a Friday night Remembrance Day game at the Avenir Centre versus Drummondville. Join us for a special pre-game ceremony honouring those who serve and those who have sacrificed for our freedom.
The 8th-place Wildcats and 9th-place Voltigeurs have identical 9-7 records after 16 games -- with the Cats holding the edge on the strength of a shootout loss point. Drummondville come into WildTown on a 2-game winning streak -- both shootout wins against their Central Division rivals.
The Volts are led by up front by 20 year-old Charles-Antoine Dumont (16GP-3G-11A) and 17 year-old Tyler Peddle (16GP-6G-7A), and in goal by veteran tandem Kevyn Brassard & Jacob Goobie. Import & Bulgarian-born D-man Nino Tomov leads the back-end in scoring with 7 points so far in his rookie campaign. Moncton's own Lane Hinkley (6'2, 214 lbs) adds some size to the defensive corps.
For the Wildcats, things didn't go as planned in Halifax on Tuesday night but Sunday's win over the Armada marked a return of the balanced scoring attack. Alexis Daniel and Miles Müller had 3-point games and if the Wildcats are firing on all cylinders it could be quite a night at the Den.
