Olivia Attwood’s dramatic hospital dash revealed as real reason she had to leave the I’m A Celebrity Jungle
OLIVIA Attwood was forced to leave I’m A Celebrity after a dramatic hospital dash.
She was rushed to A&E after she had an abnormal blood test result.
The Love Island star, 31, was in camp outback for just 48 hours before the results were revealed.
On-site medics had earlier carried out a blood test but the results gave cause for concern so bosses rushed Olivia to the nearest hospital so she could be given urgent medical attention.
The emergency visit meant that producers then deemed it unsafe for her to continue on the series.
Documentary-maker Olivia had also been forced to break ITV’s strict Covid protocol so it meant that she wasn’t able to return to the jungle to rejoin her campmates, who included Boy George and Mike Tindall.

The “heartbroken” beauty had no option but to fly home on Monday back to her fiance footballer Blackburn Rovers Bradley Dack, 28, in Manchester.
A source in Australia said: “It was touch and go for a while with Olivia’s bloods and camp producers weren’t taking any chances, they take health and safety incredibly seriously while campmates are under their care.
“Olivia was checked over by doctors and found the ordeal quite alarming, but she feels totally fine now.
“She’s absolutely gutted that her big moment taking part in the show is over and feels like she has so much more to give.

“What happened with her bloods is totally random and she could never have prepared for it.”
Speaking afterwards in the UK she said: “I was absolutely devastated. I’m not a crier but I started to cry, it was so emotional, and I was heartbroken and gutted. I was so scared.”
On Sunday night’s launch show viewers saw Olvia skydive out of a plane with fellow co-star Chris Moyles, 48, describing the experience as one of the best days of her life.
An I’m A Celebrity spokesman said last week: “As a precautionary measure Olivia needed to leave the jungle to undergo some medical checks.
Unfortunately the medical team has advised it is not safe for Olivia to return to camp as there needs to be a further investigation. She has been absolutely brilliant and she’ll be very much missed.”
Olivia was forced out of the camp on day one of the competition
Rumours swirled that it was due to her breaking the show’s tight Covid bubble, but she was quick to slap them down.
Sharing a second short message on her Instagram story on Friday, she thanked fans for their support and vowed to make a full return soon.
The reality star’s rep penned: “Thank you again for all the messages and love.
