Savvy mum reveals quick and easy way she saves money in the shops… and it’s so simple anyone can do it
WE’RE all looking for ways to cut down on our bills at the moment.
And one savvy mum has revealed the easy way she saves when she hits the supermarket.
Hannah took to TikTok to share one of her “cost saving tips” – coupons.
“People in England never talk about coupons but I’ve got two apps with vouchers on that are going to save you a bit of money in the supermarkets,” she explained.
“The first one is called Shopmium.
“It’s got all the supermarkets at the top and then it’s got different vouchers or coupons that you can use at the supermarkets.

“Let’s go to Tesco and and see what they’ve got to offer.
“Have a scroll – see what they’ve got.
“These biscuits, these yoghurts, you can try a yoghurt for free or you can get a six pack for literally 50p.
“How good is that? Cereal, always seems expensive, £1.50 off.

The other app Hannah uses is called Green Jinn.
She explained that it’s “pretty much the same thing” but it includes more shops, such as Marks & Spencer, Holland and Barrett and Ocado.
“I mean it’s not going to reduce your food shop by 50% but in this climate every little helps. Do you know what I mean?” she said.
Concluding, Hannah said: “So download the apps – just remember to keep your receipts after your food shop.”
“Thanks for this lovely, going to download them now. Can I ask why we need to keep receipts?” one person asked in the comments section of the video.
To which Hannah replied: “You have to pay for the products initially, upload the receipt as proof of purchase then you get the money back!”
Others shared their suggestions of apps to use, with one writing: “Checkout smart is another good one.”
“Omg thanks so much, didn’t know about this one!” Hannah replied.
“You’re doing the lords work!!” another commented.
