France, Germany call for taxation of multinationals at EU level

PARIS, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) -- France and Germany have called for the implementation of minimum taxation of multinational companies at European Union (EU) level, according to senior officials.

"As our citizens are heavily hit by the inflation and the energy crisis, we are determined to ensure tax justice, in order for companies to pay their fair share," France's Minister of Economy and Finance Bruno Le Maire and vis
