Love Island’s Tanya Manhenga exposes her secret plan to win over a man in the villa
BIOMEDICAL science student Tanya Manhenga has a secret formula to success in the villa – and it all comes down to chemistry.
The influencer, 22, from Liverpool, plans to spark a reaction with a wardrobe of outrageous swimwear.
She told The Sun: “I am excited to wear every single bikini – I’ve got so many, loads of bright colours, loads of cute ones.
“And if a boy is moving on with someone else, I’ve got that bikini that’s like, ‘You’re missing out’.”
Tanya has just one term of her degree to complete when she leaves the villa.
She said: “When I say I do biomedical science they’re like, ‘Oh, a bit of beauty and brains’. I’m like, yeah. I’m the full package.
“But if people want to talk about fun stuff, we can talk about fun stuff.
“If someone wants to talk about something serious, we can talk about something serious.
“I am definitely going to go and finish my degree. I wouldn’t just want to leave it because I’m on a show.”
Whether she’ll be able to handle her diary is another thing, though – as she claims to have been so busy in the run-up to Christmas, she forgot that she had applied for Love Island.
Tanya laughed: “I completely forgot about my application.
“I just put my name on it and then forgot and then I got a call like, ‘can you still do it?’
“I was like, ‘I’m still single, so yeah’. I applied in November, October. So it’s been a few months.
“I was in uni and I just forgot.”
Love Island is known for its epic dates but Tanya has a high bar, having experienced a lavish lifestyle thanks to one hopeful fella.
Describing a past date, Tanya said: “I was flown out to Paris once for a date for one day.
“He took me to a 50 Cent concert, we went for a meal, we went to a private lounge.
“He spoke to me every single day after that date and then I was blocked – so that was my best and worst date.
“I thought, ‘It’s not me, it’s definitely him’.”
- Love Island begins next Monday at 9pm on ITV2.
