I’m plus sized and stressed so much about finding a birthday outfit – I ended up dressed as a CHICKEN
A PLUS-SIZED fashionista who was left stressing over the perfect birthday outfit has revealed she ended her night dressed as a CHICKEN.
Rachel Spicer, from Falkirk, said she had “bad luck” with shopping hauls from ASOS and In The Style during her hunt for the dream frock to celebrate her 25th birthday.
The Scot who boasts two million followers on TikTok, felt like some dresses made her look like a brick while others did not flatter her boobs.
Rachel, a size 18, seemed to finally find the perfect dress – a high neck, green satin mini dress.
She told fans over the weekend: “I’ve went with the In The Style, the green. I’ve got Spanx all the way up to here [points to her armpits].
“I’m feeling a bit better, I’m glad I found a dress.”
But the hilarious influencer later revealed she did an outfit change at the pub, and ditched her outfit for a fancy dress costume.
She said: “Do you remember the stress it was to try and find a stress that fits me, suits me and makes me feel good? Because I’m a stress-head and I leave everything to the last minute.
“So we went to the Shanghai Shuffle in Glasgow and they’ve got a dress up room
“When I got drunk I dressed up as a chicken in my Crocs and that’s how I ended my birthday night.
“And do you know what? I honestly, had the best night and I have the best bunch of pals.
“I was stressing about so much. What to wear, what dress to wear, what I looked like and it really did not matter one bit because we ended up like this. Love it.”
She added: “I wouldn’t want to end my birthday night out in any other outfit.
“Honestly if you’re in Glasgow go to the Shanghai Shuffle, I’ll be doing the same next year.”
And social media users are loving her playful look, with the video racking up more than 141,000 views.
One said: “Fancy dress is always the best.”
