UK urged to act as new Covid variant fears soar after China allows virus to run rampant

A registered respiratory therapist has said China opening up its borders could "certainly" lead to a new variant of the virus developing. His comments come at a time when Covid cases are high and China breaks free from its Zero Covid policy.
