Come Dine With Me contestant storms away from table after ‘below the belt’ dig – but who’s in the wrong?
A COME Dine With Me contestant stormed out of a dinner party after a harsh dig in a classic episode of the Channel 4 show.
During the episode viewers saw a dinner party end in a disaster – as two contestants found themselves in a rowing match over a three course meal.
It began when the host of the dinner, James questioned Reece about what it was he “sneaked” under the table.
Reece then began by making a joke about having to bring ear plugs with him to the dinner so he doesn’t have to listen to Tina talking.
He told the other guests: “Yes, in the event of Tinnatus take the plugs and insert them into your ears thus and spend the rest of the evening in relative bliss.”
Tina far from amused, gave Reece a stern look and hit back with: “Can I just say when you are sitting in front of Reece these aren’t funny anyway so I wouldn’t laugh. Seriously.”

“You are about as funny as my right foot,” Tina exclaimed.
Reece then jokingly responded: “How funny is your right foot?”
Tina who clearly did not see the funny side in Reece’s question, replied back: “Not as funny as your face Reece.”
She added: “Ouch have I just got on that last nerve of yours my friend.”
Reece who was smirking, replied: “No that was a long time ago.”
Tina penned: “Yes, 4 days ago. Around the world in 4 days with Reece.”
Reece who couldn’t help but bite back with another dig, said: “And there is my curry. Serving curry in a jar.”
Tina who was slowly losing her patience with the contestant, said: “Not the whole thing actually, sweetheart. At least I didn’t serve dry pork.”
The rest of the guests watched in amusement at the petty row.
Reece then said: “Let’s move on now shall we?”

But Tina who had clearly had enough at this point didn’t want to back down, and continued to push Reece’s buttons.
“No I’m not moving on, no, if you want to have this out we will have it out. Let’s have it out. Alright! Have you got a problem with me Reece?” You’ve been blanking me all week and your body language is appalling.”
Reece then slammed Tina for being “rude” and told her to stop “bringing up these things” at the table and to be “courteous” to the host who organised the dinner.
Just as things felt a bit calmer, Reece then pipped up again and said: “The most perfect piece of pork she’s ever had and that’s why she’s left it.”
Tina fired back before storming out: “That was really, really below the belt.”
