BBC presenter shares heartbreaking news after taking time away from studio role
BBC presenter Keeley Donovan has shared the heartbreaking reason as to why she took time away from her studio role.
The broadcaster was off work for a while after suffering morning sickness with her second child.
However she has now announced doctors told her at her 12-week scan she had sadly miscarried.
In an Instagram post Keeley, 39, said: I returned to work last week but you might not have seen me around for a while, the truth is I’ve been off with horrid morning sickness.
“Unfortunately the day before our 12 week scan I started to show signs of a miscarriage.
“At the scan there was no heartbeat. A few days later I ended up back in hospital because of heavy blood loss.
“It’s been a sad and worrying time.”
She and radio presenter husband Johnny I’Anson had their first child in July 2020.
