Lake Mendocino as we haven’t seen it for some time

As of 9 a.m. Tuesday, Lake Mendocino contained 76,243 acre feet of water, which is more than double the amount of storage recorded on Dec. 5.

Local residents have been enjoying watching the lake refill as a result of the recent storms. The latest lake levels also mean, according to the National Weather Service, that the reservoir is “now exceeding the average level for this time of year.”
