Ravi is facing some serious allegations.
The 29-year-old South Korean musician and member of the boy band VIXX is being accused of attempting to evade military service in new reports.
On Thursday (January 12), a group of brokers reportedly were arrested on charges of corruption to evade military service by sending clients to a neurologist at a Seoul hospital to receive a false epilepsy diagnosis, which would help them either be exempt from military service or get a lesser assignment.

The brokers allegedly promoted their work by saying a famous idol rapper used their service to successfully receive a Grade 4 (non-active duty) military assessment, and that the rapper withdrew from a variety show last May, enlisting as a social service worker in October.
Ravi pulled out of KBS2’s 2 Days & 1 Night in May and started his military service as a public service worker in October, making him a prime target of the allegations.
His agency, GROOVL1N, issued a statement on the same day.
“Hello. This is GROOVL1N. We would like to convey our official statement regarding the reports that came out today,” they said. (Translation via Soompi.)
“After receiving the report, we are closely examining the truth about the situation,” they continued.
“It is only right to give a statement as quickly as possible, but since the problem is related to military duty, we think it is only appropriate to first find out the details and then give thorough explanations after, so we are currently trying to figure out the details. In addition, if there is a request for an investigation related to this case, [Ravi] will undergo it faithfully at any time. More exact details will be provided in a separate notice at a later date.”
Another K-pop star just faced backlash for their comments about Korea.
