In Scotland, B&M’s largest store can be found in Dumbartonshire – and it’s bigger than the OVO Hydro.
Covering 43,019 sq ft of shop floor in Glasgow Road, Dumbarton, the store is rammed full of home and garden goodies.
Describing the huge store, bosses said: “You’ll be spoilt for choice at the B&M home and garden centre in Dumbarton.
“Here you’ll discover a wide range of great value products for your living room, bedroom, kitchen and outdoor space.
“Browse the shelves and find hidden treasures for your home and garden.
“We also stock a wide selection of toys and games for little kids (and big kids!), as well as pet supplies.”
The huge store opened its doors in 2015 and created 75 jobs at the time.
A B&M spokesperson says: “B&M aim to provide customers with an exciting shopping experience, always offering great-value products at fantastic prices – and our Dumbarton store certainly provides that.
“The size of the store means we’re able to provide customers with the full range of B&M products and offer the ultimate bargain shopping experience.
“We’re incredibly proud to work for B&M’s biggest store in Scotland, and our customers travel from far and wide to browse the fantastic selection of bargains”.
The OVO Hydro in Glasgow has a capacity of 14,300 and a floor area of 42,593 sq ft.
Elsewhere, two B&M superfans drove four hours to go to the UK’s biggest B&M – and claimed it was so massive they filled a trolley in minutes.
Alicia, known online as @stormalicia, shared a glimpse into the two-storey shop, and the giant haul she did with her friend.
She said: “We enjoyed our day and found things we hadn’t seen before.”
The two-storey discount store, located in Bournemouth, opened in December and covers more than 79,000 sq ft.
Taking to Facebook, B&M project manager Andy Dale wrote: “Wow what a day, officially opened our biggest store in the business at 79,000sqft.
“It’s been a pleasure being the project manager on this one and enjoyed working with Anup and his team in Bournemouth.
“Thanks to my team and all the area support what a way to finish the year on!”
