Moments into the show, Ronan, 45, had fans distracted from the action as they spotted a problem with his outfit.

The singer-songwriter donned a blue shirt and white top alongside a nude pair of chinos for the BBC programme.

However, some fans admitted that due to the colour of the trousers being so similar to his skin, they thought he was presenting the show half-naked.

Taking to Twitter, viewers reacted in hysterics as they shared snaps of Ronan’s wardrobe blunder.

“Keating, change your strides, you look like you’re not wearing any…” one wrote alongside a screen grab of the show.

Another chimed in: “It looks like Ronan forgot his trousers.”

Ronan regularly hosts The One Show alongside Alex Jones, and the pair often have viewers laughing.

Last month, Ronan made a cheeky swipe at one of the I’m A Celebrity contestants – leaving Alex in fits of giggles.

Former health secretary and MP Matt Hancock came third on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in December.

And as Ronan and Alex discussed who they thought would be a celebrity to be announced as a contender for Strictly Come Dancing‘s Christmas special, the former Boyzone member took a bold swipe at Matt.

The duo were reading out viewers’ guesses for who the celebrity could be and Ronan said: “Matt Hancock, it’s not you.”

Alex was in stitches as she exclaimed: “Brilliant!”
