On January 12, Russia reported that Idlib militants violated the ceasefire regime in Greater Idlib 5 times: 4 – in Idlib province, 1 – in Aleppo province;
On January 12, a Syrian Republican Guard reportedly was killed by Turkish artillery attacks in the village of Mayasa in the Afrin countryside;
On January 12, SAA artillery shelled positions of Turkish-backed forces in Kafr Nuran;
On January 12, SAA artillery shelled positions of Turkish-backed forces in Kafr Amma;
On January 11, Asayish security forces captured ISIS operatives in Raqqa city. The latter were responsible in facilitating the attack on a security center in the city at the end of December.
