Video of the day: Avalanche blocks road through Cottonwood Canyon

An avalanche blocked SR210 through Little Cottonwood Canyon around noon on Wednesday, Jan.11.

The video was tweeted by the Utah Department of Transportation Cottonwood Canyons’ to inform drivers that the road would be closed until further notice. About two hours later the debris was cleared and the road was opened.
