Ezra Miller Officially Changes Plea to Guilty, Accepts Deal In Vermont Burglary Case - Details Revealed

Ezra Miller officially accepted a plea deal to close out a Vermont lawsuit stemming from burglary accusations.

The 30-year-old The Flash actor initially pleaded not guilty to charges of “unlawful trespassing, two charges for burglary into an unoccupied dwelling and petit larceny.”

Reports earlier this week suggested that they were prepared to change their plea and strike a deal, which officially happened on Friday (January 13). Details have since been revealed of the plea deal.

According to Variety, the most serious charges Ezra faced were dropped, and they pleaded guilty to “unlawful trespassing.” While they faced significant jail time for the burglary and petit larceny charges, the actor now owes a $500 fine and is subject to additional conditions, including being drug tested and receiving treatment for their mental health.

Ezra also agreed to stop drinking alcohol and will be on probation for a year.

Their legal representation shared a statement with the publication about the decision.

“Ezra Miller pled guilty this morning to a misdemeanor unlawful trespass in Vermont Superior Court and accepted the conditions imposed by the court,” they said. “Ezra would like to thank the court and the community for their trust and patience throughout this process, and would once again like to acknowledge the love and support they have received from their family and friends, who continue to be a vital presence in their ongoing mental health.”

The charges stem from an August 2022 incident. They entered their initial not guilty plea in October.

Ezra has dealt with additional legal problems in recent months.
