Nicolas Cage Remembers Ex-Wife Lisa Marie Presley After Her Death

Lisa Marie Presley is being remembered by another one of her ex-husbands.

Lisa Marie tragically died at the age of 54 on Thursday (January 12) after going into cardiac arrest, according to reports.

The following morning, Lisa Marie‘s ex-husband Nicolas Cage shared a statement remembering her.

“This is devastating news. Lisa had the greatest laugh of anyone I ever met,” Nic, 59, shared with The Hollywood Reporter. “She lit up every room, and I am heartbroken. I find some solace believing she is reunited with her son Benjamin.”

Lisa Marie met Nic in October 2000 and they went public with their relationship in May 2001. Just ahead of the relationship reveal, she split with former fiance John Oszajca.

They got married in August 2002 on the 25th anniversary of Elvis‘ death and then split four months later.
