Coyotes F Clayton Keller fined $5K for cross-checking

The NHL handed Arizona Coyotes forward Clayton Keller a $5,000 fine Friday for cross-checking Ottawa Senators defenseman Erik Brannstrom.

Keller received a five-minute major and a game misconduct after hitting Brannstrom in the neck in the first period of Ottawa's 5-3 win Thursday night.

The fine is the maximum allowable under the collective bargaining agreement.
