A 25-year-old man died after falling into a pit that was being dug to lay the foundation for an overbridge near Raiya Telephone Exchange in Rajkot. His father filed a complaint with the Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC), and the Gandhigram Police registered an offence under Indian Penal Code (IPC) Section 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) against RMC officials and others whose involvement will be revealed during the investigation.
