Dying Lola Pearce plans an exit from Walford in EastEnders
LOLA Pearce faces some heartbreaking decisions in EastEnders but the thought of an exit from Walford keeps her going.
She has been through an incredibly difficult time after discovering her illness and later finding out it is terminal and Lola is left with some huge decisions to make.
Her biggest concern is daughter Lexi who she believes her illness is starting to affect.
Lola becomes concerned when Lexi begins to say she feels unwell as a means to stay off school and spend time at home with her mum.
As Ben goes ahead with taking her to school anyway, he is soon called back to pick her up.
They quickly realise that Lexi wants to be with Lola 24/7.
Lola decides it is time to be honest with Lexi and tell her the truth that she is dying.
As she tells her the truth, everyone is shocked at Lexi’s reaction as rather than getting upset, she is left furious with her mum and insists she is taken back to school as she is angry with her for not telling the truth.
When the youngster is back at school, Lola’s mum Emma approaches her.
Lexi is unaware who she is but they enjoy a brief conversation.
With the upset and stress of discussing her death with her daughter, Jay delights Lola with some talk of a more positive nature.
