Sam Duininck of Duininck Golf elected to GCBAA Board of Directors

Duininck, a former golf construction laborer, became director of business development in 2021 and helped launch Duininck Golf's Atlanta office in 2022.

Members of the Golf Course Builders Association of America (GCBAA) recently elected Sam Duininck, director of business development for Duininck Golf, to the association’s board of directors.

Duininck will step in for Judd Duininck, general manager of Duininck Golf, who completed his two-year term as president of the GCBAA in February 2021.

“It’s an honor to be chosen to serve on the Board of the GCBAA and I look forward to continuing the work that Judd and other industry leaders have underway,” said Sam Duininck. “The GCBAA represents all segments of the golf course construction industry and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve the organization and the golf course construction industry.”

Duininck, a fourth-generation family member, started his career in golf construction as a laborer on new construction and remodeling projects throughout the U.S. He became director of business development in 2021 and helped open Duininck Golf’s Atlanta office in 2022.

“Sam’s knowledge of all aspects of golf construction gained from starting in the field and moving throughout various areas of our business has been an integral part of his professional development,” Judd Duininck said. “Add with his ability to connect with people is a tremendous asset.”
